After back-to-back impressive performances, Vanderbilt looks like a team trying to make some nice SEC noise this season. Will the Commodores compete for the SEC East? Not likely. But will they be competitive and pull a surprise this year? I think so.
Vanderbilt's defense is much more aggressive this season and first-year coach James Franklin has this team feeling really good about itself.
With Vandy getting in, that means we have to take someone out. Ole Miss is 1-1, but the offense still needs a lot of work. Jeff Scott can't carry that team by himself and other playmakers have yet to step up for the Rebels.
Nothing has really changed at the top. Alabama isn't flashy by any means, but when it plays as efficiently as it did against Penn State, this team will be tough for anyone to stop. LSU's defense looks like it's the fastest around and so far, the Tigers haven't needed much offense at all to put away opponents.
After Week 2, we have some teams moving up and down in our projections, but 10 SEC teams still look like they'll make it to the postseason.
