UPDATE: The Eagles announced during the third quarter that both Allen and Jean-Gilles are out for the remainder of the game.

The Eagles announced during the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Colts that starting RG Max Jean-Gilles has suffered a concussion.

Jean-Gilles has been replaced by reserve Nick Cole, who started the first three games of the season.

Eagles FS Nate Allen was also shaken up early during the second quarter when teammate Stewart Bradley landed on his head while the two attempted to make a tackle. Allen was down on the field for several minutes as trainers checked his head and neck, but he got up and jogged off the field.

Alex Flanagan reported Allen was brought to the locker room for X-rays on his neck and back. He was replaced by backup Kurt Coleman.
