So in week 6 my picks go 9-4 and we see the parity in the league. A league in which, the Rams get slaughtered 44-6 one week at the hands of the Detroit Lions and then they go and beat the San Diego Chargers. Week 6 provided a couple of big hits, with the league looking to stiffen their discipline on hits they find to be excessive or unprofessional. What will week 7 hold? read more

Miami Dolphins 2-2(2-0 Away) at Green Bay Packers 3-2(2-0 Home)1:00 PM Lambeau FieldThe Miami Dolphins take their act on the road as they look to capture a win at historic Lambeau Field this Sunday. Green Bay Packers' QB Aaron Rodgers has been cleared to play by the team doctor and an independent neurologist and the Packers' feel good about star rookie LB Clay Matthews hamstring. The Dolphins have three straight wins against NFC opponents. The Packers' have holes in their rush defense and Miami RBs Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams should exploit that; Green Bay's rush defense is allowing 118.3 yards a game with a 5.2 yards per carry. With the return of ILB Channing Crowder, the Dolphins should be able to create pressure on Rodgers and force him into mistakes. My Pick: Miami DolphinsPlayers to watch: MIA Ronnie Brown, Brandon Marshall, Channing Crowder read more

Atlanta Falcons 4-1 (2-1 Away) at Philadelphia Eagles (0-2 Home) 1:00PM Lincoln Financial Field A week after the Eagles narrowly escaped Candlestick Park with a win they are at home taking on the NFC South leading Atlanta Falcons. The Dirty Birds are riding a 4 game winning streak and are looking to avenge last years 34-7 loss to the Eagles. Michael Vick returns to the city he started his career with but he is still nursing his ribs and will likely see little or no action. With the return of wide receiver Michael Jenkins to the line up, the Falcons will be looking to put that passing offense on high gear, but that will be an arduous task against the NFL's 8th ranked pass defense and a defense which is also ranked 4th in receiving opposing quarterbacks' passes. The Eagles' defensive blitz scheme will look to rattle Matt Ryan as it did Alex Smith the previous week. The Falcons have lost 3 straight aga read more

Kansas City Chiefs 3-1(1-1 Away) at Houston Texans 3-2(1-2 Away)1:00 PM Reliant StadiumIn this great AFC showdown, the Kansas City Chiefs travel for a second consecutive week to take on an AFC South opponent. Todd Haley has coached his team to victories in four of the previous five games. The Texans are coming off a dismal performance in which they were manhandled by the New York Giants 34-10 at home. The ground game is crucial in this contest and both teams are ranked in the top five in this category in the league. The Chiefs' Jamaal Charles averages 6.5 yards a carry, and the Texans' Arian Foster is the NFL's leading rusher with 562 yards on the ground. Both teams are also exceptional defending the run, the Chiefs rank 6th and the Texans rank 5th. Mistakes were a big cause of the Texans loss the previous week and the Chiefs' under coach Todd Haley are playing smart this year, only two the Miami Dolphins and Tampa Buccaneers have bee read more
