Everybody wants to figure out how to make the best use of social networking tools like Twitter. The New York Jets have a game plan.
No hiding but there will be seeking, as 150 fortunate fans who follow the New York Jets via twitter (@nyjets) will have a chance to be on the field for the halftime show featuring Broadway’s Rock of Ages when the Jets take on the Cincinnati Bengals on Thanksgiving night (on NFL Network).
Rock of Ages is a five-time Tony nominated musical featuring generational power ballads. The halftime show will feature three classic rock songs: I Wanna Rock, Nothing But a Good Time and Don’t Stop Believin’.
The Jets will use their official Twitter account to give fans a chance to be on the field for the halftime concert. During the first quarter of the game, the team will tweet a location and the first 150 fans to show up at that location at the time indicated will be invited to watch the performance on the field. The ROCK OF AGES halftime show is presented by Pepsi MAX.
Of course, there are two requirements for being one of these lucky fans: You need to be a follower of @nyjets and you need to be at the game on Nov. 25.
